This next episode of the podcast references the sentiments of my third article; “Lead Your Church and Your Website“. The main point of this article is to encourage pastors to lead the charge of making a better and more effective website.This might include adding more Items to their growing lists of responsibilities; but I think it is one they definitely need to champion as the church moves into a digital space.
The points I will be talking about in this episode are:
- Define what I mean by the word “pastor”
- Asking pastors to get more educated on website creation
- Having your pastor involved in website decisions
Action Item: This action item is for pastors to get involved with their church websites. step in where you can and learn about user experience. Send articles, podcasts, and books whenever you can. Although you will probably be adding to a very busy schedule; perhaps you will also be showing that you care desperately about the future of your church’s website; and perhaps some additional resources need to be brought in to assist you in your endeavors.
