This week’s episode will finalize our journey into analytics as I settle on one method to turn analytics data into an actionable projects. It should be a relief that you can finally do something other than collect data and then make a few educated guesses. It is time for some deeper analysis and the creation of test projects. The end result is hopefully a successful project that was initiated because of solid data rather than shaky conjecture.

Action Item: If you have not already done so, listen to the previous podcasts and see the setup I chose to take for determining how to assign values to new members, a quick vocabulary lesson, a primer on measuring returns, and now some ideas that help link those ideas to a budding project. Then propose those projects to your various leadership heads as well as the justification for them. After you decide on projects and implement them; observe your analytics once again to see how those changes affected your traffic and behavior. Then by all means, as the shampoo bottle says, rinse and repeat.
