CWS Podcast – Ep. 2: Websites and Conversations

cws_podcastI found it fitting to base this episode on the first article I wrote, “Your Website Is A Conversation“. This article introduces the idea that when someone visits your church, they hopefully have a conversation. Also, when someone visits your website, they are engaging in a conversation very similar to those physical visits to a church.

The topics covered in this episode are:

  • How do these conversations start?
  • What do they consist of?
  • What methods of communication are involved?
  • How can you gauge reactions to the conversation?

Action Item: Explore the many ways a visit to a church is similar to your website, and most importantly, match them. For instance, if you have a very traditional church, but contemporary look on your website; you may confuse your visitors, or worse, lose their confidence. Match your church’s priorities and branding to your website and it will be a conversation worth remembering!
